Wild Host Safaris was started by Behost Krya, who was born and raised in Arusha and worked for 18 years as a safari guide on Tanzania’s Northern Circuit before founding the company.
Those years were spent in the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Lake Manyara: learning where the herds move from month to month, which roads are slow after rain, and which lodges look after their guests well. That knowledge is what every Wild Host itinerary is built on.
The company plans and runs its safaris from Arusha, where the northern parks begin. When you write to us, your trip is planned by people who live here, and the same team looks after you from the day you land until the day you fly home.
